The tide is turning, folks. Lawyers really are branching out.
Last week, The Diary exclusively revealed that star LPC student Katie Beck features in Dove's latest advertising campaign. Now it can report that Bates Wells & Braithwaite trainee Tara Dean has scooped a string of awards at the New York First Run Film Festival.
She produced A Higher Agency, which stars British thesps Sir Anthony Sher and Jack Davenport, and follows previous winners in the Big Apple, such as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon director Ang Lee.
However, Dean is to put her own path to Hollywood on hold, and will instead advise budding British cinematic talent from the City firm's specialist film department after qualifying later this year.
