US giant Baker & McKenzie has replaced the Asian membership of its executive committee and installed a new chairman for its policy committee as the Chicago-based firm shakes up its management.

The executive committee sees Singapore's Kien Keong Wong and Hong Kong partner Richard Weisman step down to be replaced by Hong Kong M&A partner Poh Lee Tan and Sydney-based corporate partner David Jacobs.

Jacobs is one of Bakers' most senior lawyers, as the former managingpartnerandcurrentchairman of the firm's Australian practice and also the former chairman of its firm-wide policy committee, Bakers' other main leadership body.
