Linklaters joins table as casino giant eyes London

A raft of international firms have landed roles as US casino giant Harrah's Entertainment looks to enter the London market following its £279.3m bid for one of the UK's largest casino companies, London Clubs International.
Linklaters is advising Harrah's, whose subsidiary Dagger Holdings made the offer on 31 August. Corporate partner Olivia McKendrick led the team for Linklaters, along with associate Max Mackee. London gaming specialist Joelson Wilson also advised on gaming regulatory issues.
Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom acted on behalf of London Clubs International, with London M&A partner Allan Murray-Jones leading the negotiations.
