NYSE names Robbins as general counsel

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has appointed former JP Morgan legal head Rachel Robbins as its new general counsel. Robbins, who will take up the role on 20 November, will also become a member of the NYSE's group management committee, reporting to chief executive John Thain.
