Paris independent Brandford-Griffith & Associes has rebuilt after the loss of its tax head with the hire of Roland Poirier from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe. Poirier will join as a partner to head up Brandford-Griffith's tax department following the departure of former head Pierre Ullmann to Willkie Farr & Gallagher's Paris office at the beginning of the month. Poirier was head of tax at Rambaud Martel for six years before its merger with Orrick in 2005.
