Uria Menendez corporate partner Juan Miguel Goenechea is set to advise longstanding client Acciona after a claim was filed against it last month by German power giant E.ON. Cravath Swaine & Moore client E.ON is bidding €37bn (£25bn) to acquire Endesa and is challenging Acciona's acquisition of a stake in Endesa worth €3.4bn (£2.3bn). It is claiming Acciona violated US stock exchange regulations by filing incorrectly completed forms when it acquired the stake in US-listed Endesa.
