German independent gains equity partner

German independent Beiten Burkhardt has promoted one partner to its equity and 18 to salaried partner rank in its annual promotion round, with the new class spread across its offices in Germany, Russia and China. Frankfurt-based finance salaried partner Robert Michels was the only partner to join the firm's 52-strong equity partnership.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
