As demonstrated conclusively last month at the Legal Week Awards, property lawyers (and their clients) have a well-deserved reputation as hard-drinking party animals.

Field Fisher Waterhouse therefore opted to take no chances for its recent no-expense- spared real estate party at the trendy La Porte des Indes restaurant. Canapes and champagne were distributed in liberal fashion, while a female human sculpture was hired to add a little cultcha to proceedings.

However, her costume – consisting of blue body-paint and precious little else – was deemed too risque for the performer's own good, with the events organisers subsequently ordering a cover up… and protecting her modesty with a bikini.
