Berwin Leighton Paisner real estate partner David Battiscombe and real estate finance partner Mark Waghorn advised The Beetham Organisation on the acquisition of 1 Blackfriars Road, London, for more than £50m. Linklaters finance partner Claire Watson (pictured) advised UBS on the provision of £44m of debt and Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw advised on additional funding by Allied Irish Bank.
Brabners Chaffe Street, led by property partner Jim Purves, has advised logistics giant DHL on the £13.9m sale of a warehouse site in Trafford Park to Royal London Mutual Insurance Society (RLMIS). RLMIS was advised by in-house counsel Bret Johnson.
