Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised Eastman Kodak Company on the European aspects of its agreement to sell its Health Group to Onex Healthcare Holdings for up to $2.55bn (£1.3bn). The team at Freshfields was led by corporate partner Julian Long, competition partner Vanessa Turner and employment, pensions and benefits partner Kathleen Healy. Sullivan & Cromwell acted as Kodak's lead legal advisers. Onex was advised by Kaye Scholer.

CMS Cameron McKenna has advised ABN Amro Capital on its agreement to acquire 45 TGI Friday's restaurants in the UK and US-based Carlson Restaurants Worldwide. The transaction is expected to complete in early March and values the business at £70.4m. Corporate partner Andrew Sheach (pictured) led the Camerons team. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised Carlson Restaurants and Slaughter and May advised the seller, Whitbread.
Hammonds has advised ECI partners on its £56m acquisition of Aerial Facilities. Corporate partner Jonathan Jones led
the Hammonds team. Taylor Wessing corporate partner Richard Pike led the team advising the shareholders of Aerial, while corporate partner Roger Gregory led the team at Nabarro Nathanson advising the company's management.
