GE Commercial Finance chooses new European legal chief
General Electric (GE) Commercial Finance has named Lorna Curry as the new general counsel for its European corporate finance division.

General Electric (GE) Commercial Finance has named Lorna Curry as the new general counsel for its European corporate finance division.
In her new role Curry will be responsible for 60 legal and compliance personnel and all European legal matters for a business with assets worth almost $20bn (£10.2bn).
She takes over from Kevin Dunn, who was promoted to a non-legal role as European head of leveraged finance in October, and will report to GE Commercial Finance chief executive Bob Stefanowski.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
