Planning, licensing and public law set 2 Harcourt Buildings is set to rebrand as Francis Taylor Building (FTB), after a £1m-plus investment in new premises. The 37-member set, based in Temple, will take on its new name on 12 February.

The chambers has taken on twice the space of its current premises and will finally see all tenants working under one roof. FTB will have modern conference facilities that will be available for hire by other sets of chambers.

Eight new tenants have joined the set over the past six months, including a four-strong licensing team from 3 Raymond Buildings, including silks Gerald Gouriet QC and Kevin De Haan QC.

Senior member of chambers Michael Humphries QC said: "We are very excited about the move – the new offices have fantastic client facilities." Chambers' clerking and administrative structures have also been overhauled prior to the move.

Senior clerk Paul Coveney and chambers manager Joanne Chadwick currently head up the set's administration.
