Forsters property partner Glenn Dunn has advised Invista Real Estate Investment Management on the purchase of two West Midlands warehouses for £26.7m. Wragge & Co real estate associate Mark Blair acted for the warehouse developers Rosemound Developments, which was also the seller of one of the properties. The other seller, GE Commercial, was advised by DLA Piper London property partner Richard Crossfield.

Taylor Wessing has advised Exemplar Properties Holdings on a joint venture with Morgan Stanley Real Estate. Exemplar will manage one of Morgan Stanley's development portfolios and will also take a minority investment. Taylor Wessing fielded a team under real estate partner Chris Turley, corporate partner Paul Burke and tax partner Peter Jackson. Berwin Leighton Paisner real estate head Robert MacGregor advised Morgan Stanley.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
