DLA Piper is mourning the loss of its US co-managing partner, Jeffrey Liss, who died last weekend (17 March). Liss, who was 55, died of cancer. Until his death he was co-managing partner of the firm's US operations with Terry O'Malley.

DLA Piper is mourning the loss of its US co-managing partner, Jeffrey Liss, who died last weekend (17 March).
Liss, who was 55, died of cancer. Until his death he was co-managing partner of the firm's US operations with Terry O'Malley.
Liss joined legacy US practice Piper & Marbury in 1985 and went on to become its managing partner, helping to lead the firm through its transformation into DLA Piper. As co-managing partner in the US he sat on the firm's global board and its US executive and policy committees.
