Howrey boosts Paris arm with Linklaters IP raid
Howrey has boosted its Paris intellectual property (IP) team with the hire of rated Linklaters partner Denis Monegier du Sorbier. Monegier du Sorbier, whose practice centres on litigation and advisory work in patents, designs and copyright, as well as trademarks and unfair competition, joins the US firm's Paris arm as a partner. He has a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and computer sectors.

Howrey has boosted its Paris intellectual property (IP) team with the hire of rated Linklaters partner Denis Monegier du Sorbier.
Monegier du Sorbier, whose practice centres on litigation and advisory work in patents, designs and copyright, as well as trademarks and unfair competition, joins the US firm's Paris arm as a partner. He has a particular focus on the pharmaceutical and computer sectors.
Monegier du Sorbier was previously president of the French group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and treasurer of the Association des Avocats de Propriete Industrielle.
