Clifford Chance (CC) has bagged another European mandate from buy-out house Candover, advising on its $2bn (£1bn) bid for Dutch manufacturer Stork.

Amsterdam-based corporate partner Thijs Alexander is advising Candover on the proposed takeover of the Dutch builder of airplane parts and food-processing machines.

Dutch leader De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is advising Stork, with corporate partners Jan-Willem de Boer and Lodewijk Hijmans van den Bergh leading the team.

Stibbe and NautaDutilh are both advising Stork's supervisory board. The Stibbe corporate partners are Fons Leijten and Paul van de Hoek and the corporate partners of NautaDutilh are Erik Hammerstein and Hein Hooghoudt.

Stork shareholders Centaurus and Paulson, which collectively own 33% of the company, are being advised by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer Amsterdam corporate partner Jan Willem van der Staay.
