A raft of international firms has advised on the £8bn takeover of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) by Dutch rival Akzo Nobel. Sullivan & Cromwell has joined De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and Slaughter and May advising Akzo.

A raft of international firms has advised on the £8bn takeover of Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) by Dutch rival Akzo Nobel.
Sullivan & Cromwell has joined De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and Slaughter and May advising Akzo.
The Sullivan team was led by M&A partner Richard Morrissey in London and John O'Connor in New York. Slaughters corporate partner Roland Turnill advised paint and consumer chemical business Akzo.
