Deputy chair of the Independent Police Complaints Commission John Wadham has been appointed as the group legal director for the Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR).

Deputy chair of the Independent Police Complaints Commission John Wadham has been appointed as the group legal director for the Commission for Equality and Human Rights (CEHR).
Wadham, formerly director of human rights group Liberty, joined the newly-formed CEHR in July and now reports to the body's chief executive, Nicole Brewer. While at Liberty, Wadham had called for such a body to be established.
When CEHR goes live at the beginning of October, Wadham will lead its team of lawyers in a review of discrimination laws as well as advising on regulatory issues.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
