A&P beefs up Brussels with WilmerHale recruit
Washington DC firm Arnold & Porter has strengthened its Brussels branch with the hire of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr competition lawyer Axel Gutermuth, who joins the firm as counsel. Gutermuth focuses on European Union and German merger control and competition law. He brings the number of lawyers in the firm's European competition practice team to 11.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
