DLA Piper has bagged a seven-lawyer team from Proskauer Rose in a significant boost to the growing Paris arm of the transatlantic law firm.

Tax partner Jean-Luc Cuadrado, litigation partners Emmanuelle Payrau-Sorba and Jean-Philippe Sorba and competition lawyer Marie Hindre-Gueguen all join DLA Piper's office in the French capital as partners, alongside three other lawyers.

Cuadrado, who concentrates primarily on the pharmaceutical sector, is set to join DLA Piper's strategic committee in Paris alongside newly-appointed office chief Bruce Mee. The committee, which is leading the expansion of the office, also includes outsourcing partner Steven De Keyser, who holds the title of strategic projects director.
