I'm a student who's interested in training in law and going into charity law (or advising social enterprises/NGOs). Is this an unusually competitive field? I know it's tough to get a training contract anyway but I'd just like to know before I commit myself to the training whether it's likely I'd be able to get into one of the fields I'm interested in.I'm also interested in intellectual property; can one get into that with an arts degree (plus law conversion) or is it best to take a science subject?
