Alderman to be new Serious Fraud director

The Attorney General for England and Wales, Baroness Scotland, has appointed Richard Alderman as the new director of the Serious Fraud Office. Alderman, who currently works as director of national teams and special civil investigations at HM Revenue and Customs, is set to take up his new post on 21 April. He will succeed current director Robert Wardle in the role.
