Simmons & Simmons has hired a new partner from Australian firm Minter Ellison in a boost to the City firm's China practice. Damien Bailey is set to join Simmons' Hong Kong office as a partner in its technology and telecoms department. He was previously head of Minter Ellison's technology, media and telecoms practice for Greater China.
