Dcaff2b5-cf52-4a95-886b-0935b5d699deHill Dickinson unveils its latest star lateral as regional firms continue to hedge their practices against the downturn. Top brass from the Scouse powerhouse are gathered here to demonstrate that organic growth is still possible if you nurture the grassroots of your business with sufficient client focus and a bag full of mulch.

"The SuperGrassBanana will be a focal point for our fantastic new head office," vowed Hill Dicks senior partner 'Topiary' Tony Wilson as he unveiled the sculpted shrub. "The Lambananas as a whole add real visual impact to the city in this momentous year for Liverpool."

The banana is one of more than 100 'Lambanana' sculptures of fruit and animals – possibly made from fruit and animals – adorning the gold-paved streets of Liverpool to celebrate the city's status as European Capital of Culture 2008 (stop sniggering at the back). Hill Dicks is helpfully sponsoring the project – to the tune of two sculptures – and is also official law firm to the Capital of Culture scheme. Something of a Mersey killing, you might say.
