Hot on the heels of England's recent Theo Walcott-inspired renaissance, another Home Nations outfit recently tasted football glory.
A team of lawyers from Linklaters' Stockholm office took home the top prize in the annual Swedish lawyers' football tournament, arranged for the fifth year running by Stockholm-based football club Djurgaarden.
Whether the magic circle firm's UK paymasters can take any nationalistic credit for the success is questionable; although winning trophies with a team entirely populated by foreigners has never done Arsenal any harm.
Judging by these fresh-faced young men, the competition was not a partner-only affair – lucky that, for Linklaters, which has halved the number of partners to about the size of your average football team in recent years.
The women's team from plucky local firm Hammarskiold also showed off their twinkle-toed technique, picking up the title in the ladies tournament.
