Allen & Overy (A&O) has been understandably keen to present a united front for the leadership team of incoming senior partner David Morley and managing partner Wim Dejonghe. But it shouldn't be that difficult. Sources inform The Diary that the pair's shared love of cycling had already gotten the embarrassing bonding stuff out of the way well before they both assumed high office.

Allen & Overy (A&O) has been understandably keen to present a united front for the leadership team of incoming senior partner David Morley and managing partner Wim Dejonghe.
But it shouldn't be that difficult. Sources inform The Diary that the pair's shared love of cycling had already gotten the embarrassing bonding stuff out of the way well before they both assumed high office.
Indeed, senior A&O staffers have taken to prodding the banking wunderkind for giving more prominence to pix of him and Wim from a cycling trip than to his own family. It's just a shame the images didn't make it to the City giant's glossy annual report.
