Dentons makes 40-plus Howes hire
Denton Wilde Sapte has secured a major boost for its Milton Keynes office after taking on six partners and almost 40 staff from local firm Howes Percival.The City firm is taking on Howes Percival Milton Keynes managing partner Brandon Ransley along with five other partners, 24 fee earners and 14 support staff from the regional firm's commercial team.The recruits bring Dentons to 14 partners in Milton Keynes and give it a local corporate practice for the first time. The firm's existing real estate, litigation and employment practices will also be bolstered.Dentons chief executive Howard Morris told Legal Week: "We recognise that even our largest clients do not always need a 'City' solution. We want to provide our clients with a comprehensive and high quality service."He added: "The acquisition will strengthen the support available from the UK to our offices in the Middle East, CIS and Asia."Howes Percival will continue to operate a conveyancy practice out of its Milton Keynes office.
