DLA recruits Links partner as new Singapore chief

DLA Piper has secured the hire of Linklaters partner Martin David as the new head of its Singapore office. David, who will also take up the newly-created role of regional finance and projects group head, made the move from Linklaters' Singapore office at the start of this month (1 November).He takes over the role of Singapore office head role from DLA's long-term Singapore chief Desmond Ong, who has announced his decision to leave the firm. He will continue to practice in corporate and litigation until he leaves at the end of the year.
