German leader Gleiss Lutz has recruited a new partner from Lovells in a boost for its corporate practice.

Patrick Kaffine, who has worked in Lovells' Frankfurt office since 2004, is set to join the local office of the German firm as a partner in the corporate practice.

Kaffine's practice focuses on M&A and private equity. He has advised clients including energy giant RWE – on the sale of RWE Solutions Group to Advent International – and private equity group Deutsche Beteiligungs, on the acquisition of the ICTS Group from airport operator Fraport.
