A raft of City firms have scored seats on Dubai Holding's new panel of preferred firms.

Clyde & Co, Pinsent Masons, Eversheds and DLA Piper have all won spots on the panel.

Clydes won its role on the back of its relationship with the investor and will advise on real estate, intellectual property, construction and corporate matters.

All firms have a strong presence in the Middle East, with Clydes having opened in the region twenty years ago and Pinsents holding offices in Dubai. DLA Piper recently launched an office in Oman and Eversheds has offices in Abu Dhabi and Doha.

Commenting on the appointment, Pinsents' Dubai Holding relationship partner Sean Page said: "The Pinsents team in Dubai has tripled in size since May 2008 and now boasts the largest group of specialist construction lawyers in Dubai. Our real estate, corporate and commercial teams have also grown and substantially broadened our service offering in the region. We are therefore in a great position to advise Dubai Holding and look forward to working with the group in future."

The news comes after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) completed its first-ever legal panel in October last year.
