Field Fisher Waterhouse has made its fifth lateral hire this year with the recruitment of a corporate partner from Addleshaw Goddard.

Tim Bee has been a partner at Addleshaws for 10 years, working on a range of corporate finance transactions including M&A and restructuring work.

With the addition of Bee, Field Fisher's corporate group will house 14 partners and around 35 lawyers.

Field Fisher corporate head Andrew Blankfield commented: "We are a prudently managed firm which has enabled us to invest well in recent months and we are certainly still in growth mode. Tim has a highly regarded international practice that fits well with us and he is an additional string to our bow in equity capital markets."

The latest hire comes in the wake of Field Fisher's April hire of a three-lawyer planning team from Bevan Brittan.

Earlier this year tax partner Derek Hill joined from Herbert Smith, while Tim Johnson arrived from SJ Berwin to head the firm's cross-practice media group.

Bee is the sixth partner to leave Addleshaws in recent months. Earlier this month employment partner Jane Amphlett joined Finers Stephens Innocent, while the firm's former intellectual property (IP) head Richard Kempner quit to launch Leeds-based IP boutique Kempner Robinson along with patent litigation partner Stuart Jackson.

Meanwhile, Northwest firm DWF recruited Stephen Houston as its national head of corporate, while Stephenson Harwood signed up project finance and banking partner Natalie Elphicke for its London finance team.
