Dundas & Wilson Save and Publishhas significantly bolstered its London partner headcount with three lateral partner hires and one internal promotion.
Projects partners William Simmons and Ross Campbell joined the Scottish firm from rival Tods Murray last month, where they were both partners in the firm's London office.
Both have joined as partners in Dundas's 40-lawyer projects group and will
advise on energy, infrastructure and waste projects.
The pair previously worked together on projects including the £650m Birmingham New Hospitals PPP project, on which they advised Consort Healthcare/Balfour Beatty.
This takes the Scots' firm to three lateral project partner hires this year, following the arrival of former Norton Rose projects partner Hugo Coetzee, who joined in the first quarter of 2009.
In addition, Dundas is also strengthening its City corporate practice through the recruitment of corporate partner Michael Gwydir from DLA Piper.
The firm said Gwydir will help build its UK funds practice by working closely with funds chief Colin Lawrie to target asset managers.
Before joining DLA Piper, Gwydir worked in-house with a specialist fund management business.
Dundas has also promoted London banking associate Craig Darling to partner.
Commenting on the appointments, managing partner Donald Shaw said: "These appointments help us further support our clients. They build on our view of where we want to be and strengthen our practice in London in bank-led restructuring, projects, project finance, renewable energy and funds. All are areas in which we have a strong existing reputation."
The new hires come two months after Dundas elected a new non-executive chairman, with corporate partner David Hardie replacing Michael McAuley in the role.
