Taylor Wessing has announced its partner promotions, with 17 made up to the firm's partnership.

The firm's London office received just two new partners, a third of last year's total when six were made up in the City, while one associate was made up in the firm's Cambridge base.

More than half of the promotions came in Taylor Wessing's German practice, with Hamburg receiving four new partners, Frankfurt gaining three and Munich two.

The firm's Paris office also saw more promotions than London, with three associates made up to partner.

The promotions mark a slight drop on last year's total when Taylor Wessing made up 19 new partners across its international network.

Commenting on the promotions, managing partner Tim Eyles (pictured) said: "These promotions illustrate Taylor Wessing's commitment to the continued investment in the future success of the firm. The new partners are all outstanding lawyers. Each has demonstrated their potential to take our firm forward and will be a tremendous asset to us as we continue to grow our business."
