"With just a month to go until I am due to commence my full-time GDL at UWE, I am still considering doing the course part-time. This was my original plan, but I managed to secure a loan to get me through. I assumed that doing the course full-time was the best option – but is it? Is there any merit in going part-time?

"My dilemma is made worse because I currently work for a national law firm as an admin assistant, and I have handed in my notice but several vacancies have come up which are really tempting and will give me real work experience and possibly my own caseload. However, I'd have to take all my holiday to do my part-time GDL because this is what it's like at my firm.

"Do I sacrifice my holiday and do the GDL part-time, or do I just do the nine months full-time course and come back to my firm to work in the litigation department as a paralegal?"
