Overview
Northeast royalty Dickinson Dees cast off its status as a single-site firm in 2006 but remains the dominant firm in Newcastle depite the best efforts of ambitious local upstarts Watson Burton and Ward Hadaway. The firm, which has adopted a more expansive stance in recent years than its traditional conservativeness, was rewarded by breaking into the Legal Week Top 50 in 2007, billing £56m to claim 48th place.
