Herbert Smith has rehired a trainee who was fired last year after accessing confidential information.
The trainee was reinstated at the UK top 10 firm at the end of last year after the decision was appealed, according to RollOnFriday.
Herbert Smith dismissed the trainee last July after they passed on information contained in a confidential email to colleagues which detailed who the firm was set to retain on qualification.
