nce & Co has announced its 2010 promotions, with the shipping firm making four lawyers up to the partnership. Jeremy Biggs and Fionna Gavin have been made up to partner in London in dispute resolution and shipping and insurance respectively.

Ince & Co has announced its 2010 promotions, with the shipping firm making four lawyers up to the partnership.
Jeremy Biggs and Fionna Gavin have been made up to partner in London in the dispute resolution and shipping and insurance practices respectively. Meanwhile, John Simpson has joined the partnership in Singapore in the dispute resolution practice and Brian Boahene steps up as partner in litigation and arbitration in Dubai. The new roles are effective 1 May 2010.
Senior partner James Wilson said: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of four of our solicitors to the partnership. All four trained with the firm so they are steeped in the Ince tradition of providing prompt and commercially realistic advice.
"These appointments also reflect our continuing development of the firm's key areas of business and the international network."
The four appointments are an increase on last year when the firm kicked off the 2009 promotion round with three lawyers joining the partnership in London, Hamburg and Hong Kong.
The firm also made three promotions in 2008.
The promotions take the number of partners in the firm from 86 to 90.
