McDermott Will & Emery has recruited White & Case London corporate partner Mats Sacklen as the firm's new European head of M&A. Sacklen, who is both US and Swedish qualified, joins McDermott from White & Case's City base today (19 April).

McDermott Will & Emery has recruited White & Case London corporate partner Mats Sacklen as the firm's new European head of M&A.
Sacklen, who is both US and Swedish qualified, joins McDermott from White & Case's City base today (19 April).
He is set to work with other practice group leaders on the development of the US firm's European transactional capabilities.
Sacklen (pictured) advises multinational groups, private equity funds and other clients on cross-border M&A, divestures, joint ventures and debt and equity investments, often involving multiple jurisdictions.
McDermott global corporate advisory head David Goldman said: "There are great synergies between the work that Mats does and that of our European corporate group.
"As a firm, we are focused on developing our teams and talent in all of our chosen jurisdictions to provide a first-class service to our clients. We welcome Mats to the firm and look forward to working with him as part of our leadership team."

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
