Nabarro has promoted three lawyers to the partnership in its annual promotions round, matching the number the firm made up last year.

The three new partners all come in the firm's London office. Michael Delaney joins the partnership in the banking, finance and restructuring group, while Kristy Duane is promoted in corporate and Eesheta Shah is made up in intellectual property. Shah is the only one of the three to have trained at Nabarro.

This year's round will bring firmwide partner numbers to 126 as of 1 May.

Last year's round saw two lawyers made up to the partnership in London and one in Sheffield.

Senior partner Simon Johnston said: "We are pleased to be able to continue expanding our partnership from associates within the firm. These promotions show the strength and depth of our associates and reinforce our commitment to investing in the future of the firm, notwithstanding the current economic climate."

The promotions follows today's news that CMS Cameron McKenna has made its first full equity promotions since introducing an intermediate partner rank three years ago.
The firm will make up four 'gateway' partners to the equity, including two in London, as well as making up nine new office partners.
