Beachcroft has delayed its partner promotions round until November this year.
The firm, which made two promotions in November last year, said that the decision was taken following a period of significant investment which has seen the addition of 13 new partners in recent months.
Beachcroft senior partner Simon Hodson (pictured) commented: "With these facts in mind we feel that we should have a period of consolidation before we ask people to prepare business cases in support of promotion, and so we will be inviting submissions in November of this year with the usual cycle of May promotions from 2011 onwards."
However, injury risk lawyer James Colville has been made up to the partnership in the firm's Irish affiliate, Beachcroft Dublin.
Meanwhile, southwest firm Bond Pearce has promoted two lawyers to its partnership, bringing firmwide partner numbers to 79.
Pensions lawyer Maria Riccio is made up to the partnership having joined the firm in July 2009 from Blake Lapthorne.
Bond Pearce's banking practice also receives one new partner with former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer lawyer Phillip Witney promoted after joining the firm in 2007.
Corporate services practice head Stephen Pierce commented: "As pensions and finance specialists respectively, their promotions reflect our ambitions and growth in these areas. The promotions not only recognise their legal skills, but also their strong client relationships and significant contributions to the success of the firm."
Elsewhere, Cripps Harries Hall today announced the promotion of private client lawyer Chris Wilkinson into the firm's 11-partner group.
