Mishcons adds real estate partner with LG hire
Mishcon de Reya has turned to LG for its latest hire, bringing in senior associate Jonathan Legg as a partner to boost its real estate tax group. Legg, who joins Mishcons today (10 May), has a corporate tax practice focusing on property investment, development, finance and funds work.

Mishcon de Reya has turned to LG for its latest hire, bringing in senior associate Jonathan Legg as a partner to boost its real estate tax group.
Legg, who joins Mishcons today (10 May), has a corporate tax practice focusing on property investment, development, finance and funds work.
He takes partner headcount at the firm to 59, following January's hire of SJ Berwin real estate partner trio Nick Minkoff, Stephen Hughes and Daniel Farrand.
Mishcons real estate head Nick Doffman commented: "As we emerge from the downturn, the real estate world that we knew pre-recession is much changed and we have therefore spent 2010 planning for growth in the areas that we believe will thrive in the coming years."
"We have boosted our development and planning teams and Jonathan's experience will enhance our real estate tax team where, working alongside [tax director] Belinda Bridgen, he will enable us to offer an even stronger property tax service to our clients."
Legg's hire comes less than a month after the firm brought in corporate partner Dean Poster from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe to work alongside corporate head Nick Davis. At Mishcons, Poster will focus on M&A and corporate real estate work.
Earlier this year Mishcons opened its second office with a New York litigation launch, hiring a 15-strong team of lawyers from US firm Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton.
