Eversheds has reorganised its London office, grouping all lawyers into one of six key strands as part of a drive to more efficiently deliver the firm's strategy.

All lawyers in the firm's City practice now sit within one of six new areas, covering recruitment; clients; corporate responsibility and diversity; international; stakeholders and key audiences; and communications and brand.

Each group will be given the task of delivering the firm's strategy in their respective area and will report their progress every six months. The first presentations are due in June.

The project is being led by Anthony Arter, who became London senior partner in September, while disputes partner Ben Bruton and client development consultant Baron Armah-Kwantreng are helping with co-ordination of the groups.

Corporate partner Alex Hand is heading up the recruitment group, while pensions partner Jeremy Goodwin is leading the clients group, corporate partner Richard Moulton is in charge of corporate responsibility and diversity and head of fraud Neill Blundell is heading up the international team.

Corporate partner Chris Halliday is leading the stakeholders and key audiences group while corporate communications head Imogen Lee is heading up the communications & brand team.

Arter said that the new structure is intended to boost collaboration across practice areas. He commented: "London is the firm's international headquarters and so we set up the groups to get people to work together at all levels and across all practices and to help deliver the firm's strategy."
