Norton Rose has hired two partners to its London litigation practice including Denton Wilde Sapte's co-head of dispute resolution.

Paul Morris, who co-heads Dentons' practice alongside City partner Richard Caird, will join the top 10 City firm in September. Norton Rose has also hired DLA Piper marine disputes partner David McKie, who is set to join around the same time.

Morris has a practice focused on financial institutions disputes with particular experience as a contentious corporate trustee practitioner. His financial markets disputes practice also includes debt capital markets and structured products litigation, as well as Financial Services Authority (FSA) investigations and anti-money laundering and anti-corruption legislation advice.

McKie specialises in resolving disputes in the areas of marine hull, cargo and liability, as well as in aviation and offshore energy insurance and reinsurance disputes. He also advises on shipping matters.

According to Norton Rose City-based dispute resolution head Antony Dutton, the firm's dispute resolution practice has grown significantly over the last few years, increasing its total revenues by 90% in three years.

Commenting on the hires Dutton said: "We have grown the practice significantly in recent years, not just through adding bodies but by growing the profitability of our disputes platform. Both Paul and David have very complimentary practices to our existing practice and we are confident that their clients will agree."

The hires will take Norton Rose's City disputes practice to a total of 22 partners and over 50 associates.
