Mishcon de Reya has teamed up with luxury lifestyle group Quintessentially to offer its clients a global concierge service.

The City firm is offering clients access to Quintessentially's services, which range from making reservations at restaurants, hotels and concerts through to helping with relocation issues such as finding houses, nannies and schools.

The firm has paid Quintessentially between £50,000 and £100,000 for 600 tokens to be used by clients, with Mishcons expecting the service to be most attractive to its private clients.

The partnership will last for a minimum of 12 months and follows a six-month pilot carried out earlier this year.

Mishcons business development director Elliot Moss said: "We have teamed up with the world's leading luxury lifestyle group, Quintessentially, to offer a 24-hour, 365 days a year, global concierge service to our clients. The firm in essence has become Quintessentially's client and although this arrangement occurs in other sectors, we are the first law firm in the UK to do this."

He added: "We know clients need more than legal services – especially high net worth individuals who can require extra added services to deal with cultural issues when visiting or moving to the UK.  Quintessentially has a track record in quality so it made sense to go into partnership with them."

Individual access to Quintessentially costs between £2,000 and £100,000 a year, with the cost of each service varying significantly. If one of Mishcons' clients turns out to be a repeat user of the service, Quintessentially may approach them about individual membership.
