Holman Fenwick Willan has expanded its European corporate and regulatory teams with the addition of three new partners in London, Paris and Brussels.

Hogan Lovells corporate partner Robert Follie, who headed legacy Lovells' French arm between 1996 and 2006, is set to join Holman Fenwick's Paris corporate practice on 1 February. He is bringing one associate with him from the Paris office of the transatlantic firm.

Follie was one of the founding partners of legacy Lovells' Paris office and specialises in M&A, including corporate finance, projects, disposals and international contract documentation, with a focus on the energy sector.

Follie told Legal Week: "I've reached a point in my career where I felt that this was an opportunity to do a final project in my profession. I was attracted to Holman because it is an industry focused firm and is keen to stay within the boundaries of that, which complements my practice focus on energy, which they are looking to develop."

Meanwhile, the former managing partner of legacy Hammonds' Brussels office, Konstantinos Adamantopoulos, is set to join Holman Fenwick's Brussels competition, regulatory and trade practice.

Adamantopoulos, who resigned from Hammonds in March 2010 has been running his own consulting business since, specialises in EU trade and competition law and state aid. He will join Holman Fenwick in February, with Hammonds senior associate Eliza Petritsi joining the City competition, regulatory and trade practice as a partner at the same time.

Holman Fenwick senior partner Richard Crump (pictured) said: "This continues our strategy of growth in our core areas of expertise across the world. The international spread of these developments reflects entirely our long-term objectives."

The news comes after Holman Fenwick hired Mayer Brown JSM partner Nick Longley earlier this month to launch a construction practice in Hong Kong.
