Berrymans promotes eight to partner with half made up in Manchester
Berrymans Lace Mawer has announced its annual partner promotions, with the UK top 50 firm adding eight lawyers to its partnership. The promotions are split across five of the firm's nine UK offices, with the bulk of the new partners in Manchester. John Collins, Mark Flavell, Sally Hancock and Paul Tarne have all joined the partnership in the Manchester personal injury practice.

Berrymans Lace Mawer has announced its annual partner promotions, with the UK top 50 firm adding eight lawyers to its partnership.
The promotions are split across five of the firm's nine UK offices, with the bulk of the new partners in Manchester.
John Collins, Mark Flavell, Sally Hancock and Paul Tarne have all joined the partnership in the Manchester personal injury practice.
Meanwhile, Michael Harvey (professional negligence), Simon Hammond (fraud), Roy Woollard (public sector) and Barry Jones (personal injury) have all been promoted in the London, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool offices respectively.
Berrymans firmwide senior partner Terry Renouf (pictured) said: "Fraud, personal injury and professional negligence are significant and growing areas for Berrymans and the promotions in five of our offices ensures that we continue to deliver a truly national presence."
The promotions take the total number of partners at Berrymans to 145.
Berrymans made two promotion rounds last year, adding seven lawyers to its partnership in November across London, Manchester and Southampton, on top of three new partners made up in spring 2010.
