Nabarro has recruited two partners for its London headquarters with a double hire from Pinsent Masons and Reed Smith.

The new additions, George Lubega and Philip Olmer, will join Nabarro next month (3 May) in the City law firm's commercial litigation and real estate practices respectively.

Litigator Lubega is joining from Pinsents as the 27th partner in Nabarro's commercial disputes practice. He specialises in commercial litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, and acts for a number of corporate clients and government departments.

Olmer, meanwhile, joins from Reed Smith, having previously headed up the real estate practice at Olswang. He specialises in high value structured property investment, joint venture transactions and inward investment deals.

Commenting on Lubega's hire, dispute resolution chief Jonathan Warne said: "George's track record acting on international disputes along with his commercial awareness means he will be a great asset to Nabarro. His appointment demonstrates our commitment to building a top-ranked litigation team."

Real estate head Kevin Stimpson said: "The hire [of Olmer] is proof that the Nabarro real estate team has no plans to rest on its laurels. Philip's appointment reflects the firm's commitment to make investments to grow our capabilities within the sector."

The double hire comes after real estate finance partner Duncan Hubbard left Nabarro's London office to join Norton Rose this February.
