Nabarro adds five City lawyers to partnership in promotions round
Nabarro has become the latest City firm to announce its 2011 promotions, adding five London lawyers to its partner ranks. The promotions, which will take effect on 1 May, will take the number of partners at the firm to 128. They are spread across the firm's dispute resolution, projects, planning and real estate practices.

Nabarro has become the latest City firm to announce its 2011 promotions, adding five London lawyers to its partner ranks.
The promotions, which will take effect on 1 May, will take the number of partners at the firm to 128. They are spread across the firm's dispute resolution, projects, planning and real estate practices.
The new partners include Tom Dane and Ben Trust, both of who are joining the partnership in the firm's dispute resolution practice. Dane, who trained with the firm and qualified in 2002, handles group actions and financial services regulatory disputes and has acted for clients including Nationwide and Primary Health Properties.
Trust, meanwhile, has worked on a number of high-profile disputes covering judicial reviews, procurement, competition, regulatory and financial advice.
Stephanie McDonald, who joined Nabarro in 2007, will become a partner in the firm's projects practice. She has acted for a range of public and private sector clients, including Skanska, Lend Lease, Serco and Essex County Council.
Christopher Stanwell, meanwhile, has been made up in the planning practice after joining the firm in 2004. He has advised some of Nabarro's key real estate clients, including Hammerson, Qatari Diar and Segro. The fifth new partner is Clare Thomas, who has been promoted in real estate.
Senior partner Simon Johnston (pictured) said: "Nabarro is committed to investing in the firm's future and I am delighted that we can expand our partnership from within. All five promoted today are extremely talented individuals, who have already made significant contributions to the firm, and their appointments reflect the future growth strategy of the firm."

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
