National firm TLT has reappointed managing partner David Pester and senior partner Robert Bourns for their fourth consecutive terms at the helm of the firm.

Both positions were uncontested by TLT's 64-strong partnership, which voted in April for the duo to continue their respective roles for a further three years.

The firm is currently finalising its financial results for 2010-11, with Bourns expecting revenue growth of at least 5%.

Pester and Bourns, who were appointed in 2002, are responsible for the firm's strategic direction and development and are credited with leading the transformation of TLT after the May 2000 merger of Bristol firms Trumps and Lawrence Tucketts.

Since the duo took over at the helm, TLT has more than tripled its turnover and headcount and more than doubled its number of partners.

Bourns commented: "We campaigned for more of the same over the next three years – an optimistic and opportunistic approach to the market.

"David focuses on client value – how they perceive value and how to give value to our clients – and I focus on making sure we know what is going on politically and in the business environment."

TLT moved into new London premises in May 2010 as part of the firm's strategy to extend its offering in the City.

Bourns added: "We're aiming to build up our London office to take on more work and we are also deciding what is best for us with regards to alternative business structures."
