TLT and Bond Pearce have announced the details of their annual partner promotions, with the pair making up six new partners between them.

TLT has made up four lawyers in its Bristol office, with Neil Franklin, Richard Hayllar and Deborah Sheldon joining the partnership in banking and financial services litigation and Neel Mehta promoted in construction.

Meanwhile, Bond Pearce has made up two new partners, with Stephen Dilley joining the partnership in the Plymouth commercial litigation team and Will Robertson made up in the Bristol IT/IP team.

TLT's partner promotions, which take effect immediately, bring the total number of partners at the firm to 68. The promotions at Bond Pearce took effect on 1 May and bring the total number of partners to 79.

The promotions mark a significant increase for TLT, which made up no new partners in last year's promotions round, while Bond Pearce also made up two new partners in 2010.

TLT banking and financial services head Jonathan Hoey commented: "In the last year the team has grown to meet client needs after several new appointments. I'm delighted with the promotions within the team which, combined with several key lateral partner hires, provide TLT with an enviable breadth of expertise in the financial services sector."

Bond Pearce managing partner Victor Tettmar (pictured) added: "Will and Stephen both have a clear vision of what can be done to advance the firm and I have no doubt that they will continue to make a significant contribution to our future success."
